K. Kværner
K. Kværner is a traditional Norwegian moulding manufacturer at Kløfta, specialising in skirting boards, cornices and architraves in pine and oak. A modern planing mill that supplies the interior timber that gives the cabins a polished finish.
K. Kværner was established at Kløfta in 1934 and has developed into a specialised manufacturer of mouldings. Today the company is a modern planing mill with two production lines, and the business is part of the Stangeskovene group.
The range includes, among other things, skirting boards, cornices, architraves, casings, door sets and other interior mouldings. The products are supplied in untreated and treated pine as well as oak, and the company is PEFC-certified and an Eco-Lighthouse (Miljøfyrtårn).
For turnkey cabins, good mouldings are the detail that ties the rooms together – clean transitions around windows, doors, floors and ceilings. With a long tradition of craftsmanship and a focus on quality, K. Kværner delivers exactly the timber that lifts the overall impression of a finished cabin.
